It’s time to flatten the curve, not live it up

As I looked at photos of the cooler trucks that will soon be filled with dead bodies, I could only think of those I have personally known to pass recently, not from #COVID19, but from “life’s course”.

Those people that have, or are losing loved ones cannot even have a proper funeral/service because of restrictions on crowd gatherings! They can’t visit family members in hospitals that could be the next one placed into a cooler. Yet others have the audacity to shrug their shoulders and act like this is the time of their life!

There are still people out there “vacationing” and acting carefree as nothing is going on in this world because it’s not personal to them. There are families being torn apart from this virus, and some because it was their time. There are children being left without parents, yet people still gather in crowds and meet up at spots with others.

Medical professionals, staticians, and data resources around the world have demonstrated how easily this can be spread. Country, and state leaders have issued orders to only travel when necessary.

Essential personnel are basically risking their own safety to allow you to buy groceries, to put gas in your tank, to buy items to do home projects, and to save the lives of your loved ones in any way they can. I thanked a cashier the other day and she looked at me so puzzled why I did that!

To those running around like it’s a vacation and not taking this seriously, I personally think you should be convicted of conspiracy to commit murder. If found positive after testing, the charge should worsen! You are in NO WAY helping the people of this country to #flattenthecurve
