Reality often eludes folks as they focus on their perceptions of the world around them. The reality is that we are a micrometre in a world of billions and galaxy of infinite energy.
I will never understand what drives people to reject acceptance beyond those perceptions they hold so tightly and I will never not accept them for who they are and what they believe despite our disagreements. I will, however, not allow them to destroy me or those who are willing to accept differences with empathy, compassion, and the ability to let others be.
If there is one thing I have learned in my time it’s that I have an expiration date just like every other sentient being and we should all be allowed to experience our time here just as any other, without hate awaiting them each day.
Every day, we are a moment closer to our last so why not just live, love, and laugh to the best of our ability and let others do the same?
