State Fair prostitution sting nets nearly 30 arrests
25 investigators from multiple organizations were involved in the sting
Nearly 30 people have been arrested in an investigation into prostitution targeting the New York State Fair.
According to the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office, police made one arrest for sex trafficking, 18 prostitution arrests, and nine promotion of prostitution arrests.
The investigation was a joint operation conducted by New York State Police, Homeland Security, FBI, Camillus and Geddes Police.
