it seems we live in a society that if posed the question “If you were asked to donate half your salary for one year in order to eradicate poverty in the country, would you?”
there would be two answers:
1.) How would I live if I did that?
2.) How would I live with myself if I didn’t do it?
I would, without hesitation, answer number 2
